Kitty (Shadow) - She passed away the last week of January of this year (2007). Her eyes were green, she was a mouser and a bird catcher. She survived a neighborhood full of dogs, and loved to sleep by my feet or my pillow when she was inside. She showed up at our doorstep when Jordan was little and stayed with us for 13 years. She was our soft, cuddly companion for so long that I still expect to see her meowing at the door to come in, or sitting on the couch when I come home. She never had kittens, and she always stayed close by. During her last month, she had problems walking, seeing, and eating, so I took her in to the vet. The vet said she had a bad heart and a large tumor. So we said goodbye to her with sad hearts. We miss you Kitty.
Jasmine chases rocks, and digs huge holes in the yard, and likes to dig up horse bones and bring trash in my yard if she ever gets out of the fence. But - she's a fantastic guard dog! and Jordan like to run with her. She recently got out of the yard, and was attacked by two pit bulls and her tail was nearly ripped off. After surgery and a few weeks of wearing a cone on her head, and being kept confined in the laundry room, she is doing really well, and is pretty much back to normal.
